HELLO, I AM RAMON PARRA

Even though my studies and work experience for 8 years were in the field of telecommunications, it was the world of wine and spirits that completely captivated me, discovering a universe full of history, aromas, and flavors. I obtained the title of Sommelier from the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, which led me to work in emblematic cocktail bars such as Museo Chicote and Dry Bar 1862, and to lead two successful cocktail bars, The Balcony and The Library.

I won excellence as the best student of the first Bar Master organized in Spain and trained alongside the best bartenders in Madrid, as well as renowned chefs and Michelin stars such as Paco Roncero. Additionally, I co-authored Trendrinks, the first national print magazine specializing in cocktails.As an Ambassador for Solán de Cabras, I led the non-alcoholic cocktail project for 2 years. In 2015, I was honored to be named the Best National Bar Manager at the Mixology XTrends Congress, and I joined the DIAGEO team as Brand Ambassador for the RESERVE Brands.

For the past 4 years, I’ve had the privilege of leading World Class Spain, serving as the World Class Competition Spain Director. In 2020, I was honored to receive the title of Best National Brand Ambassador at Fibar. Both titles, Best Bar Manager and Best Brand Ambassador, were chosen by the bar industry and specialized press, reflecting my dedication to the craft and the recognition of my peers.
